THE STORY

I know what it's like to do everything right and still feel like you're losing ground.

I'm 42. I've been married for over sixteen years. I have 3 sons. I live in Arizona where summer training is its own kind of character test. And I sit at 8% body fat — not because I have a perfect schedule, but because I stopped chasing protocols designed for 28-year-olds with nothing else on their plate.

There was a season where I was grinding. Eating clean by most standards. Training consistently. And still looking in the mirror wondering why nothing was moving. Not dramatically broken — just stuck. And that specific kind of stuck is the most demoralizing thing a high-performing man can experience, because you've already proven you can do hard things. The problem wasn't effort. It never was.

The problem was that the hormonal environment of a driven man in his late thirties or forties is fundamentally different from what the standard protocols were built around. Cortisol is higher. Recovery windows are compressed. Business pressure doesn't pause for your training block. Family doesn't go on hold so you can dial in your macros.

When I stopped treating my body like a hobby project and started treating it like my most important asset — everything changed.

BEFORE — 222 lbs | ~18% Body Fat

AFTER — 205 lbs | 8% Body Fat

That's me at 222 lbs, 18% body fat.
