OMADs?
Longer-form fasting refers to fasting periods beyond 24 hours, such as 36, 48, or even 72 hours. Unlike OMAD, which includes
daily eating, longer fasts allow the body to enter deeper states of repair and fat burning, such as enhanced autophagy
(cellular cleanup) and increased ketone production.
Extended fasting promotes:
Enhanced autophagy: The body repairs damaged cells and
removes waste.
Greater fat loss: Your body switches to using stored fat for
fuel.
Improved insulin sensitivity: Blood sugar regulation gets a
boost.
Mental clarity: Ketones fuel the brain, enhancing focus and
reducing mental fog.
Spiritual and emotional reset: Many people report a sense of
renewal and heightened mental discipline.
For most healthy individuals, fasting for up to 72 hours is safe and beneficial. However, if you’re new to fasting, start with
shorter fasts like OMAD or 36 hours before attempting longer durations. Always stay hydrated and supplement with
electrolytes.
Follow our standard protocol: Start with a big bowl of fruit, focusing heavily on berries. You can also begin with cucumbers
and salt or bone broth before transitioning to the fruit. From there, move into your normal-style feast.
Hunger pangs:
Hunger is an emotion like happiness or sadness—it comesand goes. You’ll feel it for mere minutes throughout the day.
1.Reframe hunger: "This is what fat loss feels like.
2." You’re losing fat, and this is proof
3.Supplement with electrolytes to support high performance.
4.Use hunger as fuel to build, conquer, and win.
Fatigue: Usually caused by an electrolyte deficiency. Drink them consistently throughout the day.
Mental doubts: Have a clear purpose for fasting. Adopt a mindset where quitting isn’t an option. Decide and execute.
Our standard approach starts every week with a 48-hour fast, then resumes OMADs for the remaining days of the week. We
encourage a weekly longer fast of at least 48 hours. While not every client does this, those with the highest levels of success
follow this protocol.
